Ashley Smith, after being on city council for four years, is now serving her second term as Mayor of Cañon City, Colorado. Ashley serves on the Urban Renewal Authority Board, Region 15 OpioId Governance Committee, Built for Zero homeless committee, and various other committees. She has a black belt in women’s self defense, and is a graduate of Brigham Young University. She and her husband Dr. David Smith enjoy hiking the Colorado mountains, have six children (yes, all from the same father and mother!) and two grand-children.
