Andrew is a multi-disciplined telecommunications veteran, bringing a diverse background to Visionary that including banking operations, certified project management, network construction, and more. His telecom career began with a pioneering Colorado cooperative that was one of the nation’s first to create a wholly-owned fiber and fixed wireless service provider subsidiary.  

Since joining Visionary in 2018, Andrew has overseen aspects of regional broadband development, open access, and large-scale projects. Andrew now pilots Visionary’s fiber division from his satellite office in downtown Cañon City, Colorado, surrounded by some of the industry’s most forward-thinking engineers, construction managers, and other talent.

Some projects Andrew has worked on include:

Project THOR, where he served as the secondary architect and primary project manager, wrote the legal framework, and coordinated 14 different public entities in forming one of Colorado’s largest public private partnerships.

PCBI Initiative, in Pitkin County, where he served as a network designer, legal framework creator, and project manager for a fixed wireless network.

Over 15+ (and counting!) Fiber-to-the-Anything, or FTTx deployments across multiple states and geographies.

Andrew leads a versatile team experienced with construction in the difficult mountain terrain states. He manages complex relationships with construction teams, municipalities, joint use owners, and more across Visionary’s entire region.
