Adam Hartman is the Superintendent of Schools for Canon City Schools in Canon City, Colorado. A 26 year veteran educator, Adam is proud of the way his district used their core beliefs to guide them through the difficulties created by the global pandemic. In terms of notable accomplishments, Adam is the 1997 Sallie Mae First Class Teacher of the Year for the state of Wyoming, and later was recognized as the Administrator of the Year for Gifted Education in Colorado. His career has spanned three different states and many roles, but his greatest and most rewarding work has been for the children and families of Canon City. He seeks to use new learning and understanding to help guide his district into the future. Outside of work, he is a proud husband and father of two and board member of Fremont Adventure Recreation.
