(NOTE: For the purposes on consolidation, this tour is being combined with the Trolley History Tour.)
Catalyst projects are important for any economic development effort; Canon City is no different. This tour showcases three historic preservation projects that show not only an investment in our community but a commitment to the future growth of Historic Canon City. Tour stops include: The historic Fremont County National Bank building; now the corporate offices of Tezak Heavy Equipment; The historic Hotel St. Cloud, built in Silvercliff, CO in 1883 and moved to Canon City in 1887; and the historic Mount St. Scholastica Academy planned redevelopment project.
