Once a vibrant center of commerce for regional mining communities, Fremont County suffered from an economic shift to front range commerce. Creating economic vitality in a rural community often requires overcoming potentially years of economic neglect. Attracting and creating new industry sectors requires initiatives to create and boost infrastructure and modernize antiquated processes. This session highlights some of the initiatives that are underway or in planning to enable and encourage economic growth.
