Program Manager
Canon City, Colorado
As the Lead Facilitator and Managing Principal of Fremont Economic Development Corporation's AgStart business incubator, Elizabeth Oberle offers guidance and support to entrepreneurs and those entering the workforce to join in the mission of attracting, growing and retaining businesses in Fremont County with innovation in the agricultural sector while adhering to the vision of sustainability and conservation of our natural resources and rural mountain lifestyle.

Ms. Oberle's professional background as a Montessori educator and author, professional development coordinator, curriculum writer, program and workforce developer, academic researcher, and inquisitive community activist in rural and urban settings - coupled with her personal passions for creating equitable and inclusive community bonds, regenerative and sustainable agriculture, the organic farm to fork movement, and all things wildly natural - propels her towards these goals.

Elizabeth is always eager to find folks who love to hike, kayak, get dirty while playing and carry on long conversations about the wonders of the world. You can often find her petting dogs, chatting with children and looking for the perfect ingredients to make a great meal at a local farmer's market.
